The FFKM oil seal is an excellent seal, usually installed near the bearing, to seal in or out the various liquids, gases or solids encountered by the specific mechanism as needed, and also to prevent oil leakage and the intrusion of external dust particles at the end of the rotating shaft.
It is known for its excellent chemical resistance and high temperature resistance, capable of stable operation in the temperature range of -40°C to 320°C. FFKM oil seals have excellent resistance to almost all chemicals, including strong acids, strong bases, nitrogen compounds, hydrogen carbonates, oils and vapors and other chemical products. The heat resistance of this material exceeds that of ordinary rubber, and it can maintain the physical properties of rubber even at high temperatures of about 300°C.
